I looked at this picture for a few minutes and tried to think about the moment it was taken; how completely happy you were, and how uncluttered your mind must have been. How proud your Pop Pop was of you. That’s a rectangle of joy, Frank.

I can’t believe it’s been a year…I’m sorry that the grief is still so strong, but hopefully you spent at least part of the day reflecting on some happier memories you have of him. Also, the comment above about the rectangle of love is beautiful, and I second it.
