Hey kids,
So this is something I’ve been meaning to promote for a while now and just haven’t gotten around to it yet because, y’know, I’ve got other stuff going on.
What kind of stuff? you might ask? Personal stuff, OK? Why don’t you back up off of my shit? Alright?
Alright.
Anyway. What was I saying before you so rudely tried to get into my business?
Oh. Right.
My good friends Lindsey and Jared have recently started a podcast and it is one of my very favorite things. It’s called Double Jump Spirit and it’s… quite difficult to describe, actually.
There is no set theme or topics of discussion for the podcast as a whole or for individual episodes. Lindsey and Jared just show up every two weeks — hopefully, soon to be every week — and talk about whatever is on their mind, or Lindsey’s thirty pages of notes, that day. Popular reoccurring subjects include: gaming, movies, TV shows, Netflix, Amazon, technology, general nerdiness, Lindsey yelling at Jared, groceries, cats, awesomeness, unicorns, Zebra Cakes, and — scarily enough — yours truly.
Double Jump Spirit is always fun and funny and charming and awesome, even when Lindsey is yelling at Jared — or at me, even though I am not there when they record or in any way affiliated with the podcast — which is quite often.
You should be listening.

Hey kids,
I had a lot of fun redesigning the My Drunk Kitchen logo yesterday, so I did another version today! Hope ya dig!

You know what? I would like some cheese to go with my whine.
Hey kids,
If you haven’t seen the adorable and hilarious My Drunk Kitchen yet — first of all, for shame — go watch all the episodes right now!
You done? Cool. Awesome, wasn’t it?
Anyway, a couple of days ago, Harto — the host of My Drunk Kitchen — put out a call to her artist followers to redesign the My Drunk Kitchen logo. This was my submission:

Yes. I like orange, OK? Sue me.
Starting my own internet show. My Drunk Ass. I don’t cook or do anything even remotely funny. Just drink and surf the net. Occasionally yell at the neighbor kids to keep off my lawn. Should be fun.
Hey kids,
Been a while, huh? Sorry ’bout that. My time has been pretty much consumed by scripts lately that I have had much or much time to blog.
Anyway, came across this image a few days ago and that I’d post it up here and share with the rest of the class. This is the cover to Big Bear’s 1998 rap album, Doin Thangs. Pretty snazzy, no?

Like I said, I came across this image a few days ago and it kind of reminded me of another album cover. A few years back, my friends — Michael and David — created album cover for their fake hip-hop duo, Team Dike (David + Mike = Dike), called I Needs Mo Money!
Granted, Michael and David did this just for the hell of it – they don’t rap, they don’t have an album or record deal — but, for some reason, I kinda take their album cover a little more seriously than I could Big Bear’s.
Either way, both are pretty friggin’ sweet!
Hey kids,
This is perhaps the nerdiest thing I’ve seen all day, but I love it.
I wish I could autotune everything I say,
-frankie
