Hits close to home. I’ve struggled with many of these issues. I think the key is to allow yourself to do what you love and what you must do to eat. They are not mutually exclusive.

Ever the optimist, eh? There should be at least some elitism by being a part of the artistic world and considering yourself as such. It could be worse, you could be like all those other awful “normals” with no talent. We could never have that, never.
